Integrated Biogas Alliance announces dairy cow biogas project

In cooperation with EIP Ventures, the Integrated Biogas Alliance is developing 7 dairy products, the final stage of the 16,500 head biogas project. The project is expected to close at the end of the first quarter of 2021.
IBA President Christopher Maloney said: “We are very happy to announce our first dairy cow biogas project.” “This is the Boise Biogas Group under the leadership of IBA partner and chief project manager Digester Doc. The culmination of two years of outstanding development work. The project is located on about 50 acres near Boise Idaho, ideally located near a natural gas pipeline. The project is the first phase of a larger biogas facility planned for the site, every day 1,200 MMBtu of renewable natural gas will be produced. After the completion of the project, it is expected to create more than 300 direct and indirect jobs during the construction phase. The facility will eventually employ 15 full-time employees on site, and another 40 related to transportation and offsite Processing-related work. The project will bring together many IBA companies’ technology, equipment and related consulting, engineering and construction services.”
Will Charlton, a spokesperson for BBG and President of Digester Doc, said: “The project has received all major permits and approvals, and received strong local and state support. “We are very pleased to work with the Chris, Tom, Beverly and IBA teams to advance this project. The project will greatly increase the renewable energy production capacity of dairy farms in Idaho. ”
